This document provides instructions on how to install the Active Directory Demo content pack that will load a few 100 hundred users that will be used for Social Media, People Search, My Sites, tagging and Blog Creation in later service packs. The primary reason this content pack is the deployed prior to the others is it creates the service accounts used in most of the demo builds. Please note that this content pack takes about 15 minutes to install.
Requirements
This installable package is built using the SharePoint Content Pack Installer with PowerShell on a virtual machine. This document assumes that you have already successfully created an environment with Windows Server 2012 Guest or using Hardware. The preferred Server Name for the Server is DEMO2013a. This document may refer to this machine as “the base VM, the Contoso server, or DEMO2013a.
Pre-Requisites
1. The AD DS Role has been added
2. DCPromo has been completed for the Contoso.com Domain
The Server FQDN would be DEMO2013a.Contoso.com

1. Minimum 16GB – 24GB of RAM for the Server DEMO2013a
2. Quad Core Processor if possible
3. 127GB – 200GB of Hard Disk Space
All users of this VM environment use the password pass@word1
Post Installation
1. Install The SQL 2012 SP1 Content Pack Demo
2. Download AutoSPInstaller: http://AutoSPInstaller.CodePlex.com
3. Install the SharePoint Binaries
4. Configure SharePoint 2013 with AutoSPInstaller using our input File
5. Install the SharePoint 2013 Self-Service BI Content Pack Demo
6. Install the ECM, Visio Services, and Big Data Content Packs as you find
